Exposure Programme

Introducing young people in Bristol to a diverse selection of careers and opportunities.

For our extended Black History Month programme 'Exposure', we wanted to introduce young people in education to a selection of sectors and careers that may be open to them, that they may not otherwise thought of.

Here at St Pauls Carnival, we work with a wonderful range of sectors and organisations in Bristol including community, events and corporates. Through our work with partners, we know that people of colour remain underrepresented in many sectors and spaces.

We want to see different sectors further diversified and raise awareness of the opportunities that young people could have the chance to walk into, by sharing them with them.

We welcomed some incredible individuals to attend assemblies at Bristol City Academy, Cotham School, Montpellier High School, St Mary Redcliffe Fairfield and Redland Green.

Huge thanks to Lewis Wedlock, Delroy Hibbert, Richad Ferron, Carole Johnson, Andrea Mahoney, Roy Kareem and Ayo Anibaba from sectors such as Academics, Politics, Communications and Business and Sustainability.
